Successful development / change in dual leadership
In the fourth year after the company’s relaunch following the insolvency of its predecessor, managing director Victor Straubhaar is handing over the reins to Astrid Rockel, the previous commercial director and authorised signatory. Straubhaar will leave the company at the end of June to take on a new role within the parent company.
The traditional Dresden-based company has undergone a successful reorganisation in recent years. This is reflected in the positive results of WEIßE FLOTTE SACHSEN GmbH. It has been profitable in all three years – even during the coronavirus pandemic. The current figures for 2024 also point in a positive direction.
UNITED WATERWAYS AG, to which the Dresden-based company also belongs, is sending Victor Straubhaar to Portugal. Under his leadership, the Basel-based company intends to develop and expand its activities on the Douro River.
Managing Director Stefan Bloch will remain at the helm of WEIßE FLOTTE SACHSEN GmbH and will manage the company together with Astrid Rockel from July.
