The 13th Swiss Green Economy Symoposium will take place from 2 to 3 September. Representatives from business, politics, science and NGOs will come together to discuss various topics in order to jointly achieve greater prosperity, protect the environment and create a more peaceful society. Since 2013, the SGES has stood as Switzerland’s most comprehensive business-sustainability event, unpacking the United Nations Agenda 2030 through economic, environmental and social lenses. This year’s motto, “Cast off for sustainability,” could not resonate more strongly with our mission at UNITED WATERWAYS.
Over 2,000 participants are expected to attend the event this year. Our CEO, Dr. Sascha Gill, will share his expertise during a panel speech and is eager to expand his knowledge about sustainable development. From global supply chains to regional infrastructure, from inland vessels to international aviation, – how do we accelerate the shift to climate-resilient transport systems?
