Seatrade Cruise Med 2026 is a leading biennial trade event and conference for the global cruise industry.
Taking place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on 16 and 17 September 2026, the event will feature networking opportunities, exhibitions, and conference sessions covering topics such as destination development, sustainable port infrastructure, and emerging technologies It will also host the annual Seatrade Cruise Awards.
Victor Straubhaar, SVP Projects & Analytics at UNITED WATERWAYS and CDO of River Advice, will participate in the session “Moving the Needle: Decarbonisation Beyond Fuel,” which will take place on 16 September from 2:20 PM to 2:50 PM local time.
This session will focus on practical steps that cruise lines and ports can take to reduce emissions now, as well as ways that greater collaboration across the cruise ecosystem can accelerate progress.
